Electricity Wheeling

Electricity wheeling is a flexible and innovative solution that allows businesses to purchase electricity from an Independent Power Producer (IPP) like Photon Energy. 

Instead of generating power on-site, wheeling enables you to purchase energy from an IPP's remote installation through a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA). This energy supplements the power you receive from traditional energy sources, which can then be reduced. You’ll also receive Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) for cutting your carbon emissions. 

The process is entirely virtual, with the electricity being transmitted to you through your local utility grid, such as Eskom or municipal systems.
